This year's recipient was Kristin Hoke, WPBF TV 25's Morning News anchor. The award was presented by last year's recipient, John Matthews, WPEC TV CBS 12's Chief Meteorologist.

John Matthews, Chief Meteorologist at WPEC TV 12, was the inaugural recipient of the Ray Marsh Award. The award was presented by Ad Fed Treasure Coast president Tom Hayes.
The Ray Marsh Award for On-Air Excellence
The Ray Marsh Award is presented annually to the on-air personality who best exemplifies the spirit of what it means to be a true ''voice'' in the community, and is named in honor of legendary local radio and television personality, Ray Marsh.
The qualifications are:

- Must be nominated by a member of the AAF
- Must be or have been an on-air personality in the market
- Must exemplify strong leadership qualities
- Must be active in at least one external civic organization
- Must provide non-monetary charitable contributions within the market(event time, fund raisers etc.)
- Must have a great smile and be able to tell at least 2 good jokes.
